CURRENT PROJECTS: Kress Supermarket
MARCH 20, 2008: Todd Gibson and I began working with a pretty cool new client today: Kress IGA Supermarket. It's a brand new store, currently under construction in the old Kress Department Store Building at Third & Pike in downtown Seattle. That may not sound like that big of a deal -- until you consider there is no supermarket in the entire downtown core area; which leaves the thousands of residents who have moved into all of the new area condominiums to get into their cars and drive to the outskirts of downtown to do their grocery shopping if they want an honest to goodness supermarket.
And there's already quite a buzz among the blogs and local press about the much anticipated opening.
I've worked on supermarket advertising before, including stores like QFC, Food Pavilion, Metropolitan Market and Whole Foods and it's a great category to do work for. We can't wait to start developing new creative. Thanks to Tyler Meyers and Catherine Willis for adding us to their team.
